A Little Intro

Hi,

Thank you SO much for coming to my little page!

I’m Anna, a business coach and advisor. I specialise in biz shiz for brick and mortar pole and aerial studio owners and freelance pole and aerial teachers.

Here’s a little about me and I’m going to introduce myself (cringe)!

I am the owner and founder of Momentum Pole & Aerial in Gloucester and Cheltenham. I was also a founder at VeriCoco trips but decided to retire from running retreats to focus on business coaching and Pole and Aerial Arts Summit.

I grew up on a small dairy farm in the Bavarian Alps, I moved to the UK at 19 after my A-levels, with a backpack and 300 Euros.

One of the things I will never shut up about is that I have a PhD in osteoarchaeology for which I got a scholarship. I completed the thing in under three years with only an afternoon’s worth of corrections, #nerdalert, and the whole thing is published as a book and several journal articles. I am proud of this achievement, even though this is now nearly 8 years ago.

I started pole in 2010 in Bournemouth because a friend of mine was a stripper and she had buff shoulders and I wanted those too!

I opened Momentum in January 2017 with some gifted 50mm screw together poles (if you know you know) and as a one-woman-band.

Momentum and its community has now grown to three studios, 550 monthly active students, 19 subcontractor teachers and 11 renumerated TAs. It is now a multiple 6 figure business (don’t get too excited please, also costs multiple six figures to run #transparencyinbiz). I got there through a lot of trial and error, hiring business coaches and consultants, going on biz courses, reading biz books, getting a lot of help basically.

My goal with my coaching and my annual event Pole and Aerial Arts Summit is to create a platform where we can

🍰 rise together and elevate the industry and each other

In my spare time, I love training straps, pole and weightlifting, hiking, skiing! I read a criminal amount of fiction and my best friend is my dog Bobby 🐕💕
