John Kindelan is a Western New York artist that can be seen at art shows, craft shows and comic cons showcasing his paintings made with coffee. A blend of pop culture and contemporary art done in a process most similar to watercolor art.

The work has been an evolution of skills and practice, learning new ways to brew the coffee and find new ways to blend traditional items and tools with a different type of medium.

The process starts with line drawings on either canvas or mixed media paper, and then painted with coffee, Colors are achieved with water color pencils or paint and blended with coffee. Layers provide deeper rich colors and increase the fragrance of the art.
