i was raised to make believe by world-traveling immigrant magicians—and as they say, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. my mother’s lineage comes from the far east of china and the zacatecas + aguascalientes indigenous tribes of nayarit, mexico. my father’s lineage spans across puerto rico, where the taíno people populated most of the caribbean. as a rainbow 🌈 bridge through and through, i am also part french from his end—which is how i remembered to blend anointing oils for magic rituals as a high priestexx.
i connect with my ancestors by combining ancient rites of passage from each of them into my sacred offerings.
