Jesus, design, and aesthetics are just some of my favs! I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I recently graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Interior Design + a minor in Business!

I am currently working as a commercial interior designer in my hometown, Anchorage.

“Created to create” is a mantra I live by. I believe the Lord has stewarded a deep appreciation of art and beauty to me! Besides exercising my creativity through my interior designer career, I also own a small business, M Designs by Mikayla, where I do modern calligraphy for weddings + events, create stickers, and make digital art! M Designs by Mikayla started out as my high school hobby and has grown to become one of my greatest passions.

I also have found joy in creating lifestyle content—making videos on social media has been such a rewarding creative outlet for me!
