Horses
I dreamed of owning my own horse one day. I spent hours on the back of my neighbors horse doing schoolwork when I was little.
We are first generation farmers. Enjoying simple living on our 11.5 acre property. Learn along with our family (5 kids) as we care for God’s Creation with grit, determination, and some risk!
Over the past 3 years we have grown our farm. We go non stop and jump with two feet into everything we do. The satisfaction of putting food on our table from our own land through gardening, and grass fed meat is a pride like none other.
We give back to the community as much as possible. We thank our loyal friends and customers for supporting us by and enjoying the fruits of our labor sold in our store. We are happy to share what we’ve learned along the way. We have helped many others who are just getting started, as many local farmers have helped us.
Our animals have a happy healthy life here on our farm. We follow their natural diet as much as possible and don’t feed grain - other than treats. These animals are livestock, but also our friends. We believe it is our responsibility to care for all of God’s creatures.

God uses sheep to describe his followers. Sheep need a good shepherd to lead them. We have the cutest sheep in the world. A mix breed of Coridale, Suffolk, Lincoln and Southdown. We recently started the breed up program for valais blackface sheep. We have an F1 and F2 ewe.
Scottish Highland cows make up the majority of our herd. Highlands are a heritage breed, who can handle extreme weather. Highlands are easy keepers and good mothers. They look majestic out in our pastures.
If you’re wondering why we started raising quail (since they’re so small) rather than chickens. Here’s some reasons:
1. Whole Body Cleanse
Quail eggs are amazing they will cleanse your body of liver stones, kidney stones & bladder stones. They will also help your body get rid of toxins and heavy metals.
2. Nutritional value
I just can’t believe how a tiny quail egg can have 1.2 grams of protein, Folate, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic Acid, Iron, Phosphorus, Riboflavin and Selenium
3. Quail eggs can not cause allergic reactions
This is so interesting! Not only does it not cause allergic reactions but the protein in a quail egg is what is used in anti-allergy medicines. So by eating quail eggs you are getting what you need to fight the allergies but in its natural form. Quail eggs also help build your immune system. As I mentioned Quail eggs help cleanse your body so by doing this it is cleaning you from the inside out. It will help your overall health and keep your skin beautiful and healthy as well.
4. Brain function
They are finding that quail eggs are healthier for human consumption over any other egg. Quail eggs have choline which is a chemical essential for healthy brain function. They say that quail eggs are much better for the elderly because of the choline and the good cholesterol.
Quail are cute, sweet birds that are fairly easy to keep. They have soft pleasant calls. No crowing of clucking.
I’m passionate about teaching the next generation about the things we love and do on our farm. I’m not an expert by any means. I’m thankful to have this amazing opportunity to spread the joy of farming.
Join me for farm school. Class runs for an hour, which includes hands on, outdoor learning. Many weeks we enjoy homemade foods. We spend time observing and digging our hands into the earth. You and your child won’t want to miss this, and you will gain some dear friends as well.
