The Holistic Lifestyle Channel

Being holistic isn't difficult.
It's should definitely not be expensive.

Back when I was a new mom I started slowly adding and removing things that were not benefitting my health and everyday I learn something new.

I share my process hoping someone can benefit as well.

This channel is exactly that, a place you can learn from and slowly start learning about becoming less attractes to the thing that are harmful but easily acquired and pushed in our stores and looking a little bit deeper to find more natural less toxic items and habits.

Yoga Pose Highlight Viparita Karani Asana

The pose is said to reverse and rebalance fluids, blood flow, and energy, and is considered a mudra, or gesture, that can help maintain life force energy.

There are many benefits to this very simple pose

It is one of the most simple but has very profound effects.

Reversing the day to day stress on the body being upright. Doing this for a few minutes a day can significantly change your health, or more like reverse many symptoms and of aging.

How to do it :

Beginners : try getting on the floor with a mat and putting your legs up against it.

If this is to hard do it on your bed.

There are many levels to this pose, but let's do a simple legs up the wall for 5 minutes.

Breathing slowly and your mind should focus on healing.

Try this everyday for a week. I usually do this in the evening.

This helps my circulation, if you sit or stand a lot. This is a great pose to help with back and leg pain and bad circulation.

Benefits: Legs Up the Wall Pose is calming and relaxing. It improves circulation (both lymphatic and venous), reduces swelling in your ankles and feet, and helps you manage stress.

Other Legs Up the Wall perks:

Activates the relaxation response (parasympathetic nervous system) and deactivates the stress response (sympathetic nervous system)
Helps lower or regulate blood pressure
Calms the mind (which may help alleviate anxiety symptoms)
Can help you wind down for bed and improve sleep
Helps alleviate tension headaches
