Children’s Yoga with Lizzie

Yoga classes led by Lizzie, a qualified primary school and yoga teacher, with over 16 years of experience in the Education sector.

Yoga and breathwork classes for nursery and primary school aged children. Every body is welcome!

Yoga with Lizzie Programmes

School (children aged from 4-11 years)

As part of the school curriculum, Yoga with Lizzie provides children’s yoga sessions during the school day.

Each session typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour and includes a variety of:

• Yoga poses
• Games
• Music/Songs
• Stories/Poems
• Breathwork
• Relaxation

Yoga can be incorporated into schools through a range of ways:

PPA cover
PE
PSHE
School events i.e. Mental Health Week, Sports Week etc.

The session content is child-centred, cross-curricular and can be linked to the school’s planning, topics or themes. Yoga techniques flow through the course of each session as well as exploring the well-being of the body and mind.

Under 5’s

Pre School Project

In line with the Early Years Curriculum, Yoga with Lizzie provides children’s yoga sessions to children in Nursery, Pre School and various childcare settings.

Each session typically lasts for 45 minutes and includes:

• Animal yoga poses
• Music and Movement
• Stories and Rhymes
• Games
• Breathwork

The session content is child-centred, cross-curricular and can be linked to the setting’s planning, topics or themes.

Early Bird Yoga

An opportunity for your child to enjoy some yoga before the start of the school day.

Early Bird Yoga provides children with an opportunity to awaken their senses by engaging in some energising yoga before the start of the school day.

Sessions run between 45 minutes to 1 hour and include the following:

• Warm up
• Yoga poses
• Breathwork
• Guided relaxation
• Daily affirmation

Sessions run on a termly basis and either a 5 or 6 week block is available to book.

After School Clubs

One of our most sought after provisions running in a number of halls in the West Berkshire and Hampshire areas.

Sessions are child-centered and cross curricular, offering a safe and contained space for children to explore a range of yoga poses and breathwork.

Each class lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour and includes; FUN yoga poses, games, music, stories, breathwork and relaxation.

Classes run during the term time and are offered in blocks of either 5 or 6.

Family Yoga

A chance to connect with your child and other families for an hour of cosy and comforting yoga.

Step away from the hustle and bustle and join Lizzie on the mat for an hour of gentle yoga.

Classes are based around a theme or story and include; yoga poses, games, music, craft and a guided relaxation.

Benefits of yoga on the mind and body are explored in these sessions also.

You’re guaranteed to take away SO many useful techniques which you can use with your family on and off the yoga mat!

Yoga Party

Celebrate your birthday with a yoga and mindfulness session!

Spend an hour with your friends taking part in a customised yoga session, based upon a theme of your choice.

An hour of yoga poses, games, music, craft and a guided relaxation to finish.

Party bags can be added to the party package at an additional cost.

Lizzie is such an incredible and knowledgeable yoga teacher! Me, my girls and my little cousins, have all enjoyed various classes. Every single session has been unique and engaging.

One of my daughters is autistic and struggles with ADHD tendencies. Lizzie was extremely understanding and my daughter has taken so much away from each class.

The animal yoga was a firm favorite, the children were so relaxed and appreciated the freedom of doing animal inspired yoga poses out in the open with llamas roaming around!

My daughter has been doing Yoga with Lizzie for the last several months and she loves it. It is a great way for her to feel relaxed after a busy start to the school week. She loves to come home and share with us anything new that she has learned and at times she has even created new moves. My own Yoga mat is often pulled out by her and she and her younger sister do moves together on it with lots of laughter. Thank You for this calming and much loved experience for my daughter.
