Hey everyone! My name is Ofelia Michelle Torres, close friends just call me O, Ofe, Ofi, but my family calls me Michelle. I’m a new mom navigating life with a wild toddler, who seems like his terrible 2s are never ending. I have no idea what I’m doing but that baby is smiling, and that’s what matters.

For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to help people and for a long time that meant becoming a doctor. I’ve always been drawn to health care. I’m an empath through and through with my love language being acts of service. I can think of no better way to express my love in this world than to help others around me in any way I can.

Now, I never made it to becoming a doctor (that still may be an option in my future) but I’m helping improve my patients health everyday through oral hygiene. For once in my life I feel like I’m doing the right thing. I don’t wake up unsure of where I’ll be or if I’m doing the “right thing” rather I wake up happy knowing I’m going to make a difference in someone’s life, everyday.
