I moved to Florence, Alabama in 1994 after having spent most of my life before that in Norfolk, Virginia. Having always been an avid outdoorsmen, particularly fishing and hunting, I grew to love all the adventures that North Alabama provides. It's seems like there's always another discovery can be made living here in the Shoals area, but also throughout the upper half of this state.

Here I will share my experiences and help you find all the great locations to enjoy what the outdoors can provide you and your family from fishing and hunting to camping and exploration.
