International women's day is celebrated on the 8th of March every year. This years theme is breaking out and setting free.
Yesterday one of 'primary times' reporters talked to many children and asked them 'Who is your hero?" Most children said there mum was there hero.
Cheida a year 5 student said, "My mum is my hero because she always hugs me and cooks me food 2 times a day."
Owen F said to 'primary times' " My hero is the queen because she is generous and is very charitable."
Finally Shreeda S said , "JK Rowling because she is an amazing author and she created a charity called the lumos fund."

Schools around England are doing lockdown practices just in case there was something near by that could threat the school. Eg. It is a bit strange how the government have only just told us that schools are going to be doing lockdown practices. The question that s lot of children have been asking is , SHOULD WE BE SCARED 😱 😨 The answer is no because its basically a fire drill, if you have friends that don't no about this drill they might be a bit scared. I took away one point because some of the characters backgrounds are very sexist. Eg. Emma who is blonde is dumb so is her Mum 'Mom' , although it might just be a coincidence.
