My art is a chapter out of my story

My YouTube Channel
World of Crafts & Nerdy Things
I have a new series in my channel called Fashion Log where I post a new video every month end reviewing, showcasing and giving behind the scene details of all the clothes and accessories I designed throughout the month.
In my latest video, I showcased all the clothes and accessories that I designed and sewed/crocheted in February 2022. On a last minute, I got inspired to make a key necklace, and I actually share what is symbolizes to me. Every item or piece of art symbolizes different things to different people. So, I can't wait to hear what a key symbolizes to you.

About
Self-taught fashion designer
My name is Khuthadzo Sinugo. Art has been a huge part of my life since I was very young. I love taking inspiration from my life experiences, random things I see, and my passions to make beautiful and unique forms of art. It does help that I have an overactive imagination.
Granted, I never studied art in university. I actually have a qualification in psychology and industrial psychology. While I could not study any art related course, my passion for fashion designing, drawing, and writing never waned. So, I taught myself.
Join me on my journey as I finally follow my passion. Hopefully, this will inspire you to also follow your dreams regardless of how hard it is or how disheartening the journey is because you won't be alone. After all, we're in this together.
My favorite work of art
These are some of the clothes, accessories and art that I have made
Each and every piece of art, clothing and accessory that I make has a story. These ones tell the most beautiful stories.
Black graphic tee
No words can describe how good it feels to wear my first digital drawing as a t-shirt. While it's not perfect, I feel like I'm a walking art gallery when I'm wearing this t-shirt.
Floral skirt & Vintage Blended top
My favorite vintage outfit. This is the definition of my style. A good amount of vintage with a hint of artsy.
Vintage strappy top
The beauty of this top is the fact that it was sewed by an actual vintage fabric. I used a leftover fabric that was used by my mom back in the 90s
Off-shoulder crochet top
This was the first crochet top that I drew a design sketch for. I was very intentional when I designed this. It wasn't my usual 'make up as you go' kind of thing. I wanted to come up with a unique design that highlighted my artsy and girly style. This top is the most detailed design I have ever made. In order to come up with this design, I had to completely stay away from my phone for three days so that I don't get influenced by external factors during the designing process.
Carey flared pants
Seen these pants everywhere? That's because I wear them all the time. And yes, I sewed them. They are so comfy and they look good with everything! The best part: I can wear them during winter and summer. If they could talk, they would tell me to chill coz I can't stop wearing them.
Cross-shoulder crochet bag
This crochet bag is a lifesaver. It is tiny, pretty and thief proof? What else can I ask for?
Frankie wrap-around top
Frankie. The top that taught me to trust the process. That it is ok to be impulsive, and that some crazy ideas turn into a beautiful work of art.
