On 10/31/21 @999prince_magnolia999 x @__st_rivera__ returned to Clubhouse for their second collaboration, “Echoes in the Blockchain”. ST Rivera, traditionally an ink artist whose work takes many hours to complete, led the collaboration by starting the artwork, pushing her artistic capabilities by not only working with a new medium but also the pace, one defined by their previous collaboration in “A Surprisingly Fun Thing I’ll Probably Never Do Again.”

Rivera photographed the work and sent it to Prïnce Magnølïa. His experimental use of Instagram filters as seen in ASFTIPNA created an alternate version of the painting. This type of call and response was further expanded by the addition of poetry inspired by the art & atmosphere of the clubhouse room where they DJ’ed and curated the experience.

“Echoes in the Blockchain” is a unique multimedia collection created and minted directly to the blockchain as a performance art experience. It aims to confront what is considered fine art and continues to fight for the freedom of self expression we enter the age of Web 3.0.
