My top picks for brunch around melbourne
A collection of epic eats around the melbourne area
Looking for a cute instagrammable cafe for your Sunday brunch? I’ve comprised a list of some of my favourite brunch spots around the melbourne area with the prettiest and tastiest dishes so both yourself and your Insta feed won’t have to miss out!
This stunning little cafe is located just on the outskirts of Malvern- hidden away in a little street corner, make sure you don’t miss the white tigers plastered on the outer wall of this cafe. The atmosphere inside along with the warm welcomes of the staff create a comfortable atmosphere before your food is even presented to you! The menu presents a smorgasbord of classic brunch favourites with a personal twist, including a granola bowl with honey cremeux, eggs benny with ham hock, mushrooms on toast with savoury granola and much more!
As soon as you enter this hip cafe in the heart of Richmond you’re swept away to a tropical paradise, plants cover the interior of this place, making it instagrammable as heck. The aesthetic of this place doesn’t stop there- the menu has been curated with some very interesting and creative meals including truffle roasted mushrooms with walnuts and whipped ricotta and the infamous croffle smores, making this one photogenic brunch spot!
Now this cafe has something for everyone. This family friendly cafe offers up a diverse menu including vegetarian, vegan and kid friendly meals including a board of unique specials- the interior offers a beautiful seating area as well as an outside courtyard including a child’s play area. Though the dishes on this menu are seemingly simple, they are packed full of flavour and executed to perfection, such as the corn fritters with ever so crispy kale. Aaron’s & co. has perfected the classic weekend brunch menu for sure!
I believe this cafe perfectly encompasses the neighbourhood it belongs to- it presents a trendy menu with equally trendy presentation (who doesn’t want a smoothie served up in a light bulb?- Thomas Edison realness). The interior too is bright and welcoming, hugging the cafe are glass windows all around. The menu presents classic dishes such as French toast served up in the most picturesque way- perfect for your next insta shot!
White mojo is the definition of an instagrammable cafe- I’m almost certain the lighting has been specifically made perfect for instagram opportunities. The menu of this cafe is anything but ‘simple’- from chilli scramble served up in a charcoal bun to French toast served with a liquid nitrogen flower which you smash over your dish? You’d be missing out if you didn’t give this place a try!
