My name is Alex, but my friends call me Boomer. I’m a 27 year old from the East Coast tryna make a name for herself and I love having you guys follow along in this crazy journey.

What got me here?
Life has thrown me MANY curveballs. I come from a family in medicine. Needless to say that was going to be my move. But then I had such an interest in advertising, marketing, social media, and keeping up with the latest trends.
Needless to say, none of the jobs I was getting into were encompassing all of that.
Now this isn’t to say that I’ve giving up working in the corporate 9-6/8-5 world. In fact you’ll find me doing my part there five to six days a week. But if I can wrestle up the confidence to make a push for a better life—one where I’m in control and get to call the shots, you betchyaself I’m gonna give it a try.

So here I am. Another girl on a journey to better her life through doing something she ACTUALLY loves. And I hope you’ll follow me along for it!
