Stephanie Itimi
Social Entrepreneur | Technology Consultant + Educator
Stephanie Itimi is a PhD research student in Information Security, based within the CDT in Cyber Security at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is also the founder of Seidea, a social enterprise focused on helping BME women build Cybersecurity careers and Seiarto, an online store that sells high quality Postcards with a West African influence.
Stephanie has a track record of supporting global initiatives and was part of the BBC World Service team that developed the world's first public health information service on the WhatsApp platform. Tackling false Ebola news, Stephanie led a data restructuring project which supplied text, pictures and audio to over 16,000 consumers in West Africa, as well as through partners such as UNICEF, the World Health Organisation, the World Food Program and the Centre for Disease Control.
She has also played a significant role in the development and manufacturing of high-profile initiatives in Slovakia, Morocco, the United Kingdom and several West and East African nations through her diverse consultative experience with Culture Fez, Balloon Ventures, UN Women and the European Commission, promoting freedom of data, digital literacy, financial empowerment and gender equality. She was previously a consultant at Africa Business Portal and a guest lecturer at Coventry University London's MBA Global Business program concentrating on the informal economy, multi-domestic strategy and poverty. She is the author of two academic books entitled "The informal sector in Nigeria and its effect on development” and “ Postmodern Nigeria: A Socio-Economic Analysis: A collection of academic essays”.

Seidea
Founded in 2019, Seidea is a career development platform with a social mission of diversifying the cybersecurity industry. We support over 600+ Black and Minority Ethnic women around the globe in their entry into the cybersecurity field through online courses and virtual internships.
SeiCode
Founded in 2018, Sei-Code is a virtual coding club sponsored by Google and managed by Seidea, which teaches BME girls aged 9-16 how to code and build up their confidence through animated storytelling. 65 BME Girls (9-16) have successfully completed the programme.
Naija-Connect Book Club (NCBC)
Founded in 2020, Naija Connect Book Club is a community for individuals interested in learning more about Nigeria's History (Economic, Political and Policing). We meet virtually bi-weekly (6-8 pm BST) to review books, academic papers and films. Photo by uncoveredlens.

Founded in 2019, Seipod is a monthly podcast focusing on personal security, offering valuable insights to help BAME women overcome common cyber attacks and ramp up their personal security. Since it's exception, the podcast has had 1.4k plays.
