I’m an OBGYN PA-C, mother of 4, married to my HS sweetheart, and now a wellness coach! Ever since I can remember, being active has always been a priority in my life. It is my stress reliever and my personal outlet. I began my career as a speech therapist for five years and then switched to a special education teacher for another four years. During this time of my life, I was a new mother and trying to juggle the challenges of mom, wife, cook, housekeeper...etc. Phew! While I wanted to care for my patients, family, or students, I quickly learned that if I want to serve others, I need to make sure I am well taken care of. “You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.” This is when my health and fitness were essential in my daily routine.
Now, as a new PA, my patients mean the world to me. So many diseases can be prevented through clean eating and exercise - that’s it! I have made it a point to inspire others and to motivate my community to break the cycles of Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Cholesterol, and many others. It is my mission to raise awareness and to help others be the best version they can be for their children, families, significant others, and most importantly for themselves!
