Bridesmaid robes

I had to have some sort of matching outfit for the bridesmaids to get ready in. I loved these bridesmaid robes in the color “Rose”. they were OS which was perfect because I didn’t have to special order different sizes for all the bridesmaids. they also have the exact same matching robe in kids so I got them for my flower girls as well. they matched my colors perfectly!

I had to have some cheesy shots with my girls! I did tell my photographer I only wanted to capture REAL moments, nothing fake or that didn’t actually happen. 10/10 recommend. we didn’t waste any time faking candid shots.

our venue was The Springs in Edmond. last minute we were able to move the ceremony outside (we didn’t know how the weather would be in February in Oklahoma). I’m SO glad we could do this outside. the venue was absolutely gorgeous!

the literal most perfect bouquet ever! it is from DecorFlowerBar on Etsy. this is where I got all the bridesmaids bouquets, flower girl hair pins, boutonnières, etc. it’s all dried floral so it won’t die and I love that. I have it displayed on my bathroom counter now with my garter.

I had playlists ready for everything (ceremony, cocktail hour, etc) except the actual reception, which is one of my biggest regrets looking back! make a specific playlist ahead of time so you can hear your favs all night long.

Money Dance

DO IT. the money dance (or dollar dance) is when guests pay the bride and groom for a brief dance. we made more $ here than our registry 😳 honeymoon fund!

Generations Dance

every married couple gets on the dance floor and slowly the DJ starts kicking people out (by saying if you have been married for less than X years, please exit the dance floor). one final couple will be standing strong! it’s a great way to commemorate their marriage while also celebrating the start of yours.
