Oh hi there!

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.

My name is Alia, and my passion is supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum in a holistic, faith-centered way. I believe God intentionally designed women's bodies for birth, and I strive to help mothers approach this season with confidence, knowledge, and trust in the way they were wonderfully made.

I am a wife, mama to a sweet daughter, and a birth doula who is CPR and BLS certified for both adults and infants. Before becoming a doula, I worked as an EMT on a neonatal transport ambulance, where I had the privilege of caring for newborns and witnessing the strength and resilience of families during some of life's most significant moments.

Whether you're preparing for your first baby or adding another blessing to your family, my goal is to provide compassionate support, evidence-based information, and encouragement every step of the way.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you prepare to welcome your little one.

FAQ’s

Some of the Common Questions!

What is a birth doula?
A birth doula is a trained support person who provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. I also support partners by helping them feel confident and involved, so they can better support you during labor and beyond.

Why do I need a doula?
Every birth is unique, and having a doula means having continuous support focused entirely on you. Some families want guidance through labor, others want support for their partner, and many simply want someone steady and reassuring in the room.

For families who desire it, I also offer faith-based encouragement during labor, including prayer, Scripture, and worship support.

What makes you different?
My work is rooted in supporting women not only physically and emotionally, but also spiritually. I believe birth is a design created by God, and I strive to help you feel confident, informed, and supported as you walk through that experience.

Because of this approach, I may not be the best fit for everyone—and that’s okay. I believe the best doula-client relationship is one built on shared values and trust.

What types of births do you attend?
I support hospital, birth center, and home births. While I especially love supporting home births, my priority is that you feel safe, respected, and supported wherever you choose to give birth. If you’d like to talk through your options, I’d love to connect.

Are there any situations where you would not take a client?
Yes. I have a few boundaries in place so I can fully show up for my clients and provide the best care possible:

I do not accept clients who smoke cigarettes, vape, or use marijuana during pregnancy.
I do not attend unassisted home births without a midwife or certified medical provider.
Due to severe allergies, I am unable to attend home-births in homes with cats.

These boundaries are in place to ensure I can safely and fully support you during your birth experience.
