Who am I?

Helllooo!
My name is Jazmine and I’m a full spectrum doula, certified through BADT. Born and raised in Houston, Tx.
I have been practicing and gaining knowledge on all things womb and baby since November of 2020.
I have a 5 year old son who is awesome and autistic, my own personal pregnancy and labor is what initially drew me to wanting to be apart of the birth work community. After training and my own personal research, I’ve become aware of just how dangerous birth can be (especially for BIPOC) and I’m here to not only teach my clients to advocate for themselves and growing family but be available to advocate for them as well.

Q: What is a doula?

A: NECESSARY!

A full spectrum doula is a person who is able to to support you across a variety of different reproductive journeys. Including pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum, abortion, and miscarriage. I provide not only emotional and physical support, I am also there to give reassurance to you as your rights as well as making sure you’re informed enough to have the confidence to advocate for yourself and child.
I DO NOT provide any type of medical care, such as cervical checks or delivering of your baby.
I am not here to replace your partner, I am here to add to your support team so that we can band together and achieve your desired outcome. I am here to meet you where you are emotionally and always hold a safe space.
