It took a long time for me to accept myself as a creative. I saw myself as too “by-the-book” to be creative and too reserved to be expressive. It turns out, what I needed was my passion for detail and engineering. The qualities I thought made me poorly suited to be hairdresser are exactly what drove me to become the talented hairdresser I am today. ​ I was hungry for knowledge and took every class I could fit into my schedule. I especially enjoyed the chemistry behind hair color, and developed quite an interest in cosmetic chemistry.

I have been a member of the Board of Certified Haircolorists for the past 8 years. I took the time to learn everything I could about hair coloring, and in 2014, became an official ambassador for L'Oreal Professionel. I've received global training on advanced color correction and balayage from some of the world's best stylists, and can now use my skills to create looks with impact. ​ By educating myself on color theory, advanced color correction techniques, as well as the creation of a traditional balayage, I am now able to bring my clients the best possible service that they need to stay beautiful and confident all year long.

Altered Ego Loft is located inside Sola Salons. My studio is the first one you see when you walk in, straight ahead in suite number 33.

After sanitizing your hands and putting your things away, we begin the service with a consultation to determine the look you want to achieve. This is when we will discuss maintenance, budget, lifestyle, length of sessions, and home care.

I’ve designed your relaxing experience with me to deliver fantastic results utilizing a variety of treatments, color correction tools, and coloring techniques while being mindful to maximize our time together.

What that means is healthy gorgeous hair without spending all day in the salon and hundreds on at home care.

Instead of charging per service or a la carte, I charge a flat hourly fee. This fee includes all of the amazing products I need to use to detox and cleanse your hair, treatments to keep your hair healthy and strong, and of course the shampoos, conditioners, hair color, and other styling products I use during our session.

My hourly fee also includes any products you need to take care of your new style at home. I don’t want your hair to just look good the day you have it done - I want it to look great every day in between our visits too! Don’t worry, I keep maintenance simple and easy to follow.

As a courtesy, I ask that you cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance. A 50% cancellation fee will apply to any appointment cancelled within less than 24 hours. All no show appointments will be charged 100% of the service.

I ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes after the start of your appointment time. After 15 minutes it will be necessary to reschedule your appointment for another day and the 50% cancellation fee will be collected. It’s not fair to my next guest to be late, nor would I feel comfortable doing a rushed job on you - and you don’t want “rushed” hair anyway!
