About the artist

Alyssia Strasser is a Los Angeles, multidisciplinary artist, whose work focuses on the subconscious mind and exploration of human emotions.

Referencing the work of psychiatrist Carl Jung, Strasser’s narratives confront and overcome traumas to heal and discuss mental health. Her colorful paintings, sculptures, installations, artist books, and digital art represent subconscious concepts of the self. She is a Winston Hewitt Memorial Scholarship recipient, is a member of the DH Arts Collective, and has exhibited at WAM! 2020: A Women's Appreciation Month Art Show and “Content: 2022” at The Mistake Room. Strasser received a B.A. in studio art from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2022.
