DUST BUNNIES

TOOTHY GOODNESS SINCE 2008

I’ve been making fine art dolls (let’s just call them that, since I have no idea what to classify them as!) for over a decade. They largely follow the same recipe - wide, staring eyes, human teeth, fabric body, and sculpted clay face. I’ve made them out of antique secret society robes, old christening gowns, vintage aprons, deadstock fabrics, self-designed fabrics, embroidered handkerchiefs, and more. I love rummaging through vintage, thrift, and antique shops in search of materials, props, and inspiration. I’ve shown them in galleries and conventions across the US, UK, the Philippines, and Japan...and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

THIMBLESTUMP HOLLOW

My husband, Chris Ryniak, and I are the creators of the Thimblestump Hollow brand of designer collectible vinyl blindbox toys. To date, there are over thirty individual characters across three series! The brand has sold tens of thousands of toys in brick and mortar specialty shops, online, at pop culture conventions across the US, and at Hot Topic locations across the US and Canada.

THE MAKER

I teamed up with Kezelos Creative in 2010 to design and make the puppets for the stop-motion short film “The Maker”, which now has over THIRTEEN MILLION VIEWS on YouTube!
