About AMCA Youth

Youth Group for Muslims on Sydney’s North Shore

AMCA Youth is a newfound group under AMCA (Artarmon Muslim Community Association), which seeks to support our community’s youth. Although the leafy North Shore is a beautiful, multicultural area of Sydney, Muslim youth have had limited opportunities to foster their Australian Muslim identity. AMCA Youth seeks to close this gap by facilitating a close-knit youth community that prides themselves on their Australian Muslim identity, serves the North Shore community as a whole and supports one another through the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood.

Youth Group runs on a fortnightly basis, 6pm-9pm (with permanent venue address TBC). It is open to boys and girls between the ages of 13-25. With a gold coin donation each session, members will receive dinner, fun activities, a chance to socialise with other youth, a Halaqah (Islamic education) talk by experts, and mentoring from youth leaders.
