A ex non believer in myself
It’s possible to be successful and be SAHM
I was lucky enough to be a SAHM for 12 years. I always knew that I wanted to help contribute to our finances after my youngest started kindergarten. The problem was that I needed to have flexible hours and my husband wanted me to earn A LOT of money. He believed in me before I believed in myself.
We kept going back to getting my real estate license. I agreed but wasn’t in love with the idea of working weekends and missing my kids sporting events and anything else we usually do on the weekends. I just knew I didn’t ever want to go back to a “9-5” like I did before I had children.
Rewind to the summer of 2016. A post on Facebook led me to a sample of what I called after one wash, “magic shampoo.” I used this magic shampoo on my beach vacation and my hair that was mostly frizzy in the summer and in a ponytail, was now shiny, frizzless and straight!
I immediately called my friend who let me try the shampoo and told her that I want to buy this magic shampoo right away! She told me a little about the company and a lightbulb went on! I knew I am an “over sharer” and would tell everyone about my magic shampoo, so why not try for a while and if I’m successful...this will be my part time job making a full time income....and here I am 5 years later doing just that!
