POLLUTION —

POLLUTION IN THE AIR, NOISE AND WATER

POLLUTION IN THE AIR

Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air. Car emissions, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles. Ozone, a gas, is a major part of air pollution in cities. When ozone forms air pollution, it's also called smog.

POLLUTION IN THE WATER

Water pollution is the pollution of bodies of water, such as lakes, rivers, seas, the oceans, as well as groundwater. [1] It occurs when pollutants reach these bodies of water, without treatment. Waste from homes, factories and other buildings get into the water bodies and as a result water gets contaminated.

POLLUTION IN THE NOISE

Noise pollution is an invisible danger. It cannot be seen, but it is present nonetheless, both on land and under the sea. Noise pollution is considered to be any unwanted or disturbing sound that affects the health and well-being of humans and other organisms.
