The Cane Corso, ( Italian Mastiff ) is a large dog breed that requires owners with a strong personality. The Cane Corso is very loyal dog breed and it's lineage can be traced back thousands of years, most notably to ancient Rome. The Roman Army would incorporate the Cane Corso's pregenerate ancestors into their front lines of battle when going into war and thus the breeds nickname was born "DOGS OF WAR."
