Hatshepsut was the first female ruler of ancient Egypt to adopt the full titles and regalia of a Pharaoh.
She dresses like a king and sometimes wears a false beard to assert her authority.
Her statues are often portrayed as a male pharaoh complete with a beard and traditional king’s “schendyt” ( a kilt-like garment )
“Hatshepsut” means ‘Foremost of Noble Ladies.”

Anck Su ( Sue ) Namun ear cuffs and mini hugger was named after my favorite character in the movie “The Mummy”. Although her name might be originally taken from “Ankhesenamun” - the sister and the Great Royal Wife of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Who happens to be the daughter of the late Queen Nefertiti.
Anck Su Namun was mostly seen in black and gold body paint.
