My love of storytelling can be traced back to the Afghan folklore my grandfather would tell me when I was a child. I would clutch a Barbie in one hand and a piece of naan in the other, mouth agape in awe. It didn’t take long for me to put pen to paper and make my own worlds, my own stories.
I’m now a college student studying biology, with an emphasis on global health/epidemiology. When I’m not studying late into the night, I’m working on my novel and piecing together poems.
