We are very excited to celebrate our love surrounded by our friends and family on June 24, 2023.
The symbolic ceremony, dinner and wedding party will take place at the castle of Serragiumenta in Altomonte, Calabria (IT).

Some information about the week-end’s schedule.
Carmen’s parents are welcoming us to their beautiful home on Friday in the evening. There will be food, drinks and music and it will be the perfect opportunity to meet the other guests.
When: Friday 23rd from 8.30pm

The wedding will take place on Saturday evening. Make sure to get there on time as the ceremony will start shortly after.

Once you arrive there, you can park your car in the parking lot of the castle _leave your luggage inside your car before checking in_.
Guests are split between 3 areas of the property: the castle, the agriturimo and the glamping. No matter where you are staying all guests need to check in at the castle.
The reception is after the main gate, before the castle to your right. Let them know your name and that you come for the wedding. They will take you to your room and take care of your luggage.

We are right next to the Pollino National Park! You have many options from just taking the car to see the belvedere to a whole day hiking in the mountains.
If you are looking for something different, you can also go canyoning in the Raganello or rafting in the Lao river.

For this special occasion, we decided to take you back to Carmen’s roots: Castrovillari. This is the hometown of her father and the place where she spend every summer since she was a child. A perfect balance of sea, nature and sunshine.
Over the years, Arthur has been coming to this peaceful place, but for another reason: the delicious food. Here you won’t have to choose between quality and quantity, you always have both.
If you have the time we really recommend staying for a couple of extra days to discover this totally underrated region.

Where the jet set life is 🚤
PLANE
For people travelling from Brussels or Madrid, the easiest way to get there is by plane. The closest airport is Lamezia Terme (120km).
From Brussels:
There are two Ryanair flights a week leaving from Brussels-Charleroi (thurdays and sundays). The price can vary a lot but don’t worry, if you book it well in advance, you can get good deals.
During the summer, Tui also offer flights from Zaventem to Lamezia on saturdays.
From Madrid:
Unfortunately there are no direct flights to Lamezia. You will have to make a quick stop in Rome or Milan.
You could also consider flying to Bari (232 km), Brindisi (227 km), or even Naples (265 km) and then rent a car.
CAR RENTAL
The car is the best option to move around the region therefore we strongly recommend renting one at the airport.
If you travel with Ryanair, they usually have good deals and discounts.
TRAIN & BUS
