Landscape and botanical paintings + fine art prints
A collection of pieces that are reflective and whimsical, inspired by nature and simple landscapes. Each one is a quiet invitation to be still, reflect, and savor the moment. Here are some favorites:
Aurora Sunset
Walking along the shoreline at sunset, hand in hand, soaking up the golden light and shades of peach, pink, and yellow streaked across the sky.
Patchwork Fields
This early fall scene reminds me of the simple, rewarding practice of working with our hands: toiling in a field or tending to a backyard garden, piecing together scraps of fabric into a patchwork quilt or sketching the seams where the hills overlap and painting layer by layer.
Citrus Study No. 2
There's something so fresh and bright about citrus, especially in the middle of winter in Upstate New York. I find myself baking with citrus more often (lemon-white-chocolate-chip cookies are a favorite around here) and painting them, too.
Citrus Study No. 4
This petite pair of citrus studies (now. 4 and 5) are fresh and bright and playful. They are printed on velvety soft fine art paper and available in a variety of sizes: 4x6” to 16x20”.
Country Road in Summer
We were driving home. The windows were down, the warm breeze on our faces. We came to an intersection at the bottom of a gentle hill and I quickly snapped a picture of this scene.

About Me
I’m Ashley Danyew - an acrylic painter in Rochester, NY.
I’ve always been a creative: a painter, a musician, a writer, a poet. The creative process makes me feel whole and curious and present and that’s what I hope to convey and share through my work. I hope you, too, can experience these things.
My paintings are inspired by nature and simple landscapes, particularly scenes from the Finger Lakes in Upstate NY. I hope each piece offers you a quiet invitation to be still, reflect, and savor the moment.
