Hey guys! My name is Ashley and my love for cooking began at a very early age, 8 to be exact. I still remember reading through my grandma’s old cookbooks and watching Julia Child every Saturday morning on PBS with my mom￼. I burned through several easy bake oven’s, and was finally allowed access to a real oven at age 10. I began baking and selling cookies, cupcakes, and brownies for every school event and family garage sale. In high school around age 16, I started my own pie business and later added cheesecakes to the menu. At age 18 I began making custom cakes and around age 20, while attending culinary school full-time I picked up 3 part-time jobs. 1 as a cooking instructor,￼ 1 as a garde manger banquet chef and 1 as a cake decorator.
After culinary school I managed several different multimillion dollar kitchens located across the United States: Manhattan, NYC; Beverly Hills, CA; Chicago, IL; New Orleans, LA; Dallas, TX; Houston , TX
Now I live in Houston and work as a cooking coach while creating content part time. I have a passion for food and a love for all things health and wellness.In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my dogs, documenting new recipes and my travels in search of new bars and restaurants.
