About Amy

Vibrating Higher, Fully Grounded

Amy is a lifelong spiritual seeker and began practicing yoga in college and then eventually began studying yoga and yogic meditation more seriously while living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC.

She has been practicing yoga for more than 25 years and teaching for 15 years, receiving certification in 2008 and continually learning from Kristine Kaoverii Weber’s, Subtle Yoga program, among others.

Amy currently teaches Slow, Mindful Yoga and Invigorating, Mindful Yoga at School House Yoga Studio and Purrista Cat Cafe. Amy provides a safe environment with adaptable, inclusive classes that focus on yoga as a complete system. Amy teaches private and group classes so you can choose how you feel most comfortable practicing.

Besides teaching yoga, Amy is a writer and feature contributor to the Erie Reader. She is also a marketing and communications professional.

In her free time, Amy can be found hiking trails and enjoying nature with her dog Shanti, reading a good book with cats Rumi & Mirabai, staring at the sky, or out enjoying local arts & culture.
