Mum Guilt is something that mothers battle constantly and a lot of what we want to share remains unsaid, due to societal norms or fear of judgement. We provide an output for mums by organising regular "Safe Conversation Circles" for mums to meet and share their frank thoughts through their real-life stories.
We also share encouraging content on a regular basis, advocating self-care and kindness towards self. We have also started a "Quick Chat" series where we share pre-recorded conversations with experts, professionals and advocates from the wellness space.
A positive space to
⭐️share your self care activities and encourage others
⭐️practise empathy towards other mums
Share whenever you feel like it and encourage others

We are grateful for all the features of our social cause. Thanks for joining our effort towards positive Maternal Mental Health ❤️
We provide an output for mums by organising regular "Safe Conversation Circles" for mums to meet and share their frank thoughts through their real-life stories. We have facilitated conversations among more than 50 mums as of now.
The sharing of their stories, their joys and pain, restores their "voice", empowers them, hopefully reduces their burden a little and helps them practice empathy towards fellow mums. Overall, this increases self-confidence, more positivity towards themselves and more understanding of other mums' lived experiences.
The sessions are facilitated by Ms Yasmin Begum, a professional marketing consultant who is a mum of 4 and a trained facilitator. She started 'Away from Mum Guilt' in 2018 to bring the concept of safe conversations and judgment-free story sharing to the local mums community.
We organise events for mums encouraging self care, both paid and complimentary, throughout the year. Spaces are usually limited. Please be connected to our Instagram and Facebook pages to be informed of our upcoming events.

You have taken good care of everyone Mama, it's time to take care of yourself with a well deserved break.
At this year's retreat, we would be going deeper into Self Compassion, gently guided by Mindfulness Coach Jace Loi, Founder of MingMindfulness.com.
Join fellow mums on Sun, 30 Oct 22, 9 am to 5.30 pm, and retreat inwards in this customised mindful self-compassion retreat for Mums. Learn to hold the much needed space for the most important person. Yourself.
This retreat is organised with the current SMMs in mind and has limited capacity. Register early to reserve your space.
We would be in touch with more details and payment information upon registration.
We look forward to seeing you on 30th Oct. Till then, take care and stay safe.
Sincerely,
Yasmin Begum, Away from Mum Guilt & Jace Loi, MingMindfulness.com
