About Me

We Are All Stardust

My parents named me Bahar, meaning Spring, historically a season of new beginnings and transformation. I am inspired by and living vicariously through the eyes of two beautiful souls who call me "Mommy," my favorite name. Professionally, I'm called "Doctor." I worked really hard for that name. I really did it for one reason, to understand and alleviate suffering. I learned that only pain disappears with pills. Suffering lingers and can only dissipate if we are given enough information and empowered to feel brave enough to change the way we look at things.

I'm here to share what I think and what I know today. It may change. I hope it changes, growing, with more information and future experiences. Life's lessons unfold uniquely, timed for each individual.

All of my life experiences and education have led me to this moment. Let's go back in time.

Embracing my Persian-American roots and raised in Mississippi, I value empathy as the foundation of genuine education. Unconventional, I found diplomacy in my invisibility, realizing labels breed ignorance.

I left Mississippi for Philly, where the University of Pennsylvania became my transformative space, challenging and arming me with fresh theories and tools to experiment in a more diverse and forgiving laboratory. Observing humanity's patterns, I discovered my love for people and a purpose—to show quick love, encouraging self-love.

Becoming a physician, I rejected labeling, realizing true wellness requires understanding and tools, not just prescriptions. I believe you should have those tools. Afterall, you're inside that vehicle, your body, 24/7. I want you to know as much about your body as you do your car. Otherwise we stay in the cycle where I hold all the information and I only see you when your body is broken. that is more of a disease-care model. I'm interested in a health-care model, one that keeps you healthy.

My purpose? To share universal wisdom within us, acknowledging personal truths alongside medical facts. Words hold power; emotions drive change. Coexistence is vital; understanding others' truths fosters wisdom. I'm not for everyone, and nor is one flavor off ice cream. I'm sharing what I know hoping one person will join me on this journey. We're all worthy little miracles, here with the universe's permission.

Feel free to go back to your way of seeing the world after this, but I hope you feel empowered enough to try on my perspective briefly; like a pair of shades that you can always remove, seeing the world through a new lens may change your day, maybe your life.
