Hi! I’m Joje and I’m a soap maker and creator of Banyuhay Skin Food. This passion project of mine came to life with the hopes of being able to share my love for handmade soaps, shampoo bars and conditioner bars that are gentle on the skin and kind to nature to you without having to ruin your budget.
Most of my soaps are made from locally sourced natural ingredients to support local farmers and small businesses. Everything is made, poured and cut by hand to conserve energy and lessen carbon footprint.
You will also find shampoo and conditioner bars made of synthetic detergents that are not natural but are made with mild ingredients that are free from SLS, SLES, paraben and formaldehyde. These are also powered with natural botanicals and essential oils. Still made and molded by hand and without the nasty plastic bottles as packaging.

Body Soaps
All-natural. Handcrafted.
Our soaps are made with extra virgin olive oil, oat milk, cacao husk tea from Davao, virgin coconut oil from Quezon Province, unrefined cocoa butter from Davao, raw honey from Cordillera mountains, and manila elemi resin from MIMAROPA.
Our virgin coconut oil is solar infused for at least a month with manila elemi resin and other plants/flowers such as cacao husk from Davao, lavender buds, chamomile flowers, calendula flowers, dried rosehips and rose petals.

Shampoo & Conditioner Bars
One less plastic bottle at a time.
Our shampoo and conditioner bars are made with only the mildest and safest surfactants that we can find that are mostly plant-derived and free from SLS, SLES, parabens and formaldehyde.
If you’ve tried using all-natural soaps or cold-processed soaps as shampoo and found that it does not suit your hair (making it sticky or oily), then this might be the perfect alternative for you!
These are the same shampoo and conditioners that we use at home and are pH-balanced between 5-6 (tested using pH strips).
We also use other natural oils, honey, herbs and essential oils to add nourishment for the hair and scalp.
What’s more is that these don’t come in plastic bottles and can last up to a maximum of 2 months per bar. Thats about 2 plastic bottles per month that we save Mother Earth from!
Lila Shampoo

Made with mild and safe surfactants plus raw honey to add moisturizing and anti-bacterial properties. Essential oils of lavender and tea tree helps soothe itchy scalp and may help lessen dandruff.

Sodium cocoyl isethionate (plant-derived), cocamidopropyl betaine (plant-derived), decyl glucoside (plant-derived), behentrimonium methosulfate (plant-derived), cetyl alcohol (plant-derived) cocoa butter (Davao), raw honey (Cordillera), citric acid, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin (paraben and formaldehyde free), essential oils of lavender, tea tree and patchouli, aloe vera powder, water-based food colorant.
Luntian Shampoo

Essential oils of Cedarwood Atlas and Rosemary aids in hair growth and may lessen hair fall. This smells like oranges!

Lila Conditioner

Enriched with Vitamin E and pro-vitamin B5 to help strengthen and nourish the hair and scalp.

- Orders made through Shopee will be fulfilled via GoGo Xpress.
- Orders made through our Order Form or Direct Message can be shipped via Lalamove for same day delivery or GoGo Xpress.
- To reduce carbon footprint, all orders placed by Friday, 5PM will be shipped every Monday (except Lalamove same day deliveries).
