Passion for your designs

You must have passion and love what you do to do it well. Passion for your design will improve your skill and make your work more enjoyable. Exploring different graphic designs will enhance your creativity, lead you to better results and think about things others dodn't know.
So if you love exploring, playing around with colors, drawing, watching design idea videos, and anything related to arts and design, then you are naturally creative. Now all you have to do is hone that creativity.

Get to know your Software

You must master the design application for you to be ready for any design for your client. The more you master it, the better the results. For a career in graphic designer, I recommend learning the following industry-standard tools:

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is the most advanced image editing and manipulation application used by graphic designers, photographers, retouchers, digital artists, web designers, and hobbyists.

Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Illustrator is a professional vector-based design and drawing program. Used as part of a larger design workflow, Illustrator allows for the creation of everything from single design elements to entire compositions. Designers use Illustrator to create posters, symbols, logos, patterns, icons.

Adobe InDesign

Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing and typesetting software application produced by works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books, and eBooks.

Work is important, but your health is everything

You must mind your health while working. Why? Because it may save you from sickness. Too much work can lead to a range of physical problems. You might experience poor sleep and an increased chance of stroke. It can also affect your productivity.
Before that happens, you must learn to take breaks, exercise while working, and eat a healthy diet. For more health tips, you can visit these sites:

Be positive!

Always think positively despite challenges you may encounter in creating designs. Don't stop, Keep going. If you fail, make it your motivation. If you are tired, rest but don't leave it. Don't be afraid of failure because as Thomas J. Watson said, "You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, so go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that's where you will find success."
So always remember, everyone who has been successful also started as a beginner just like you.
