About the artist, Nicole ☺︎︎

Nicole is a local to Syracuse, NY! She has been professionally doing makeup for the last 6 years.

Her makeup career started at Bare Minerals, where she then turned to freelance artistry - from prom makeup to wedding makeup. After a couple of years of freelancing in beauty, she moved towards the Syracuse Film industry - where she began assisting lead makeup artist’s on set. Nicole wanted to advance her skills in makeup - so she decided to move across country in 2018 to Los Angeles, CA to attend makeup school at Make-Up Designory, also known as MUD.

She studied the Masters in Make-Up / SFX Make-Up program. The course taught all aspects of beauty make-up, behind the camera make-up, and specialFX (sfx) make-up.

After graduating from MUD, Nicole continued to live in LA for another 2 years. She continued to work on-set, but not only was Nicole carrying out her dream doing make-up on the film + media industry. She also became a professionally certified Airbrush Tanning Artist.

Along with Freelance Make-Up Artistry, Nicole worked for a company called Sugared+Bronzed in Beverly Hills where she mastered the art of Airbrush Tanning.

Fast forward to March 2020 - everything in LA closed down and Nicole was ready to pack up and move back home to Syracuse, NY!

This lead to Nicole opening up her own Studio, Bronzed Syracuse LLC in June 2020 [ Airbrush Tanning + Make-Up services ] and then joining the @GLAMSQUADSYR [ a team of local hair and makeup artist in the Syracuse area coming together to offer beauty services for large weddings, special events, styled shoots, etc ]

Along with Airbrush Tanning and Bridal Make-Up, Nicole works closely with @CarlyStudios. Nicole is one of the make-up artist’s behind the scenes of Carly Studios boudoir photography!

Nicole is a freelance make-up artist who can be booked individually for one-on-one or group beauty services. Anything larger than 5-6 services, please keep in mind of possibly hiring along another artist. If you want / looking for the whole squad, please contact @glamsquadsyr to book your large wedding services and request Nicole R.
