I am an independent nail technician with a private studio located at The Beauty Slayer in Hamilton!

I have been in the nail industry for over half a decade, I love nail art and have a passionate focus on natural nail health and rehabilitation, I work solely with natural nails…no full extension sets!

I offer manicures, overlays, and dry pedicures!

I have made the choice to only work with gel products. I use high quality gel polishes and builder gels to ensure your manicures last long and look amazing!

What is a gel overlay?

An overlay is when a thicker gel product is applied directly to the natural nail. It’s recommended every 2-4 weeks to come in for maintenance (a gel overlay rebalance) to rebalance the overlay and fill in the growth. During that appointment we can shorten the nails, change the shape and of course the colour!

✶ people who like to change their nails frequently as there is no soak offs, the product is removed with an efile bit. Less acetone exposure the better!

What is a dry pedicure?

A dry pedicure is a beauty service for the feet that does not use water. Your feet are exfoliated with an electric file to remove dead skin cells and calluses.

Dry pedicures are terrific because there is less chance of contracting an infection from potentially unsanitary pedicure tubs, and you are not exposed to any waterborne pathogens.

Additionally, dry pedicures allow me to work more efficiently and reduce callus more effectively with efile nail bits!

They are also safe for diabetics or individuals taking blood thinners.

What is included in a dry pedicure?

The dry pedicure service includes nail trimming, filing, cuticle work and callus smoothing using an efile with specialty bits, hot towel, lotion with massage, the application of gel polish (or regular polish if your bring your own!) and cuticle oil!
