Preparing your skin
Preparation is very important for a long lasting tan
Exfoliate & Wax/Shave
Stay away from a body scrub/loofah as most are oil based and will leave a residue. Use a exfoliating mitt instead. Wax should be done 48 hrs. before appt. Shaving should be done the day or morning of the tan.
Spa treatments & Mani/Pedi
All facials & massages should be done the day before tanning appt. Mandi/Pedi should also be done the day before so your tan is not scrubbed off or any barriers are created with oils and lotions.
No Barriers & Clothing
Please do not apply any oils, lotions, perfumes, deodorant or make up the day of your appointment. All these can create barriers and will not allow the tan to develop correctly.
Wear dark, loose fitting clothing. Bronzers in the spray tan solutions can transfer onto clothing and other material.
Showering
Any soaps/ cream based body washes (especially DOVE) are known to leave a residue on the skin that can create a barrier your tan can not develop on. Gel based body wash is the best. Showering should be completed at least four hours prior to tanning.
Aftercare Instructions

Before Rinsing
Do not get wet or sweat until it is time for the initial rinse. No lotions, foundation or working out. Even pets who lick can leave a mark on the tan.
No touching
If you touch skin while your tan is developing this could result in stained hands.
Initial Rinse
If you do not rinse at your recommended time, your tan may be too light or dark. Do not use soap. Temperature should be lukewarm. If you see streaks after getting out the shower, go back in and use your hand to guide the leftover bronzer off.
Future showers
Avoid using any loofahs or wash rags during your showers. It is best to wash with only hands. A gel based body wash is recommended.
