My name is Melissa. I have 3 kiddos, one son and two daughters. They truly are my world. 🌎 They each make me proud on a daily basis. We have come a long way to get to where we are. My daughter has multiple medical conditions. Two of my children & I suffer from Anxiety & PTSD. I’m a single mom taking it one day at a time.

I work from home, I recently opened an Etsy store. I’m an affiliate/distributor for ItWorks, Amazon and Damsel in Defense. I decided to start sharing some of my favorite products, sales, recipes, etc. I love crafting and creating new things, baking with my girls and cooking with and for my son.

I’ve been abused on & off since I was a child. I’ve been told I’m “worthless” and “nothing” and sometimes when you hear things like that on a regular basis, you start to believe it. I got out of an abusive marriage in 2017 with the help of Family Violence Prevention Services and I hope to help other women in similar situations. It’s still a struggle everyday getting back to “normal”. I was isolated for a long time. I believed that my family didn’t care and that no one would help me, but I was wrong. I’m still constantly looking over my shoulder, in my rear view mirror and checking my car before I get in. He almost killed me the week that I got out and I Thank God everyday that my children and I made it out alive.

After everything I’ve been through, I’ve made a choice to try my best to live in a positive, loving & happy environment. I focus on positive parenting & it works best for my family. PATIENCE is the key word in our home. 🤣 I hope you enjoy our silly, crafty, sometimes serious and sassy posts.
