Yonathan Cruz, known under his stage name Duke Yoni, born march 27, 1990, is a Costa Rican singer, songwriter and producer. In 2014, Yonathan began recording his first songs and created the concept of what would become his first musical production.

In 2014 recorded his debut album called King After War (officially released on November 24th, 2017), a production that incorporates pop, industrial, electro-industrial, and electronic rock. He wrote all the songs that were included in the album, and produced all the tracks. The eight songs tell a story of a young boy who struggles the ups and downs of the world he is meant to face.
Besides the main version of the album, there are three repackage versions (Korean Version, Japanese Version and the Chinese Version). He also released a Re-Imagined version that includes extra audio and artwork.

The album was streamed on Spotify in over 35 countries from Colombia to Singapore. It had the chance to be played in a local radio station in San José, Costa Rica.

In 2018 Duke Yoni, together with the support of a local radio station (Radio Nova CR) premiered his radio show called pop.Not, which opens space for new upcoming talent and broadcasts their recordings to a wider audience. The first season was produced under the label BELYON RECORDS and in full charge of DUKE YONI; The season consisted of 6 shows in which 36 bands and solo acts participated, among which are: Niño Koi, Javier Arce and Debi Nova.

In 2019 Duke Yoni recorded new music with experimental sounds that include hip-hop, indie pop, alternative pop, dark pop, electropop and trap. This production called New Edge 1st Mini Album was officially released on April 19, 2020.
This release is accompanied by an alternate edition called New Edge 1st Mini Album (Red Repackage)
