What is BAP?

WHAT IS BAP?
BAP is Beta Alpha Psi, an honor organization for accounting, finance, and information systems students. BAP was founded in 1919, has over 300 chapters nation-wide, and is recognized and respected by the business community as a premier collegiate organization. You'll probably run into some former BAP student members when you talk to professionals in your field!

SDSU's BAP is the Beta Eta chapter. Not to brag, but we are one of the most decorated BAP chapters in the Western region. We host meetings with professionals and recruiters, give back to our community through community service (also sometimes with professionals), host professional development workshops (i.e. resume workshops, mock interviews, etc), offer a Mentor-Mentee program, and have lots of fun in general while remaining ambitious with our grades and career aspirations.

CAN I JOIN BAP?
We would love if you joined BAP. We do have a number of requirements you need to meet in order to join, including Major requirement, GPA requirement, community service hour requirement, and payment of dues. See our first page of this Milkshake Link for the specific membership requirements. If you have any questions about membership, please e-mail President, Graham Zagrodzky, at bapbetaeta.president@gmail.com.
