About

Believer, Wife, Mom. Empty Nester.
Menopause survivor. Transplant warrior.
Rescuer of BRAma. Workout partner.

I try to to discover what is good for our body and what is not. And share what I find.

Two things I know for sure: wearing a bra is not good for your body, but working out is! So I help ladies with both :-)

I became interested in health after the kidney disease discovery. I could do nothing, and let my kidneys fail, or I could learn everything I could to try and safe them. Ultimately, they did fail, but it took 19 years. Then, I had to go on dialysis for a while, and then had a transplant.

Transplant is awesome in many ways, but there are still things to deal with. Mostly, having a low immune system. That it when I started researching again. How to protect my body. I did learn that wearing a bra is a bad thing and I can help you replace it (just find the BRAma link to the right).

But I also have a desire to keep my body strong. I taught group fitness for a while. That ended when dialysis needed to start. I went to gyms for a while, but they can be expensive, full of germs (especially now), and I couldn't always find classes that I liked. But now - I can always find a class I like. Anytime. Anywhere. I keep my gym in my pocket. Let me show you how.
