Teaching yoga feeds my soul. To act as an ambassador for the practice and to have the ability to share it is such a gift. It feeds me in such away because I know from my personal experience how yoga has transformed my life not just physically and in terms of health, but also in terms of mindfulness and how I perceive the world. I struggle with rheumatoid arthritis, so physically yoga allows me to live my life to the fullest. However, as my practice has deepened over the years, the benefits of yoga have hit every dimension of my human experience down to the spiritual level. A true gift it’s been⭐️
My teaching style is meant to allow students to become their best teachers, I like to challenge students so that they can find an edge and define that as whatever it means for them. I enjoy guiding practitioners to move into their own bodies and into their personal interpretation of their practice. My philosophy is to guide without hand holding. I believe that this allows students space to be their own observer and to simultaneously bear witness to their individual transformation.
