Your birth preferences are heard
My doula services focus on:
Connection π
Building a relationship based on trust and openness. Birthing people need to feel safe and supported in order to surrender to birth.
This is an intimate time and Iβm honored to know each familyβs sacred story.
Empowerment βπ»βπ½βπΏ
Encouraging parents to listen to their intuition. Birthing people know what they need and as a member of your birth team my job is to support your wishes.
Non-judgment βοΈ
Birth is intimate, vulnerable & downright magical.
I truly believe that there is not one right place or way to birth.
Whether your birth takes place at home, in a hospital, or an operating room β it matters and deserves to be supported, however it unfolds.
Education π
When you have questions about your birth, I love providing clients with up to date, evidence based information.
I learn so much from each client and their individual story, desires and wishes, &
I love using education to help clients feel confident in their decisions.

I am here to serve you in a way that keeps your needs first, supports your unique birthing experience, & encourages you to advocate for yourself how you see fit.Β
During pregnancy I offer 2-3 prenatal meetings. In these meetings we will be able to get to know each other better leading up to the time of birth.
We will also go over birth education, affirmations, postpartum preparation, birth preferences, and emotional support.
I will be available to support you 24/7 via text, call, or email.
You will have access to my library of resources including books, articles, local providers, and more.
Starting at 37 weeks I will be on call for you and your family.
Once you are in active labor I will show up for you and your family in any way that is needed wherever you decide to birth.
This may look like me saying prayers/affirmations with you, preparing nutritional snacks and beverages, cleaning up, massage, coaching your partner in ways to support you, keeping your other kids company, getting a bath started for you, and making sure you feel comfortable and safe during your labor.
I will be by your side until baby is earth side and immediately postpartum.
Β
I use natural, holistic, calming, and evidence-based approaches to educate our clients and help prepare them for childbirth and labor.

Meet The Doula
Meet The Doula
Thank you for coming to visit, my name is Amber, I am a DONA trained birth/postpartum doula and placenta specialist.
I am proud to be a doula serving the families of: South Phoenix , Laveen, Downtown Phoenix , Scottsdale,Tempe, Maryvale, Mesa, Gilbert, and surrounding areas.
As a young parent, mothering ran parallel with my first experiences of adulthood and I could not be more grateful. Becoming a mother awoke a curiosity; my need to ask the important questions and to search within myself to answer them truthfully.
My own birthing & early motherhood experiences evoked my interest in becoming more informed about problematic societal views birthing people and parenthood specifically the effects these implicit biases have on minority families and their babies.
The more I learn about these common issues, the deeper this desire to support and advocate for birthing families has become.
I truly do look forward to meeting you, your partner, your baby, other children, and anyone else that plays an important part in your birth experience!
