What Happens at Black Trans Blues?

Black Trans Blues is not a therapy session—it’s a healing gathering led by a Black trans facilitator. We’ll use storytelling, somatic healing, and art to explore our reproductive grief and reimagine care. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Q. Who is this retreat for?

A. Black trans people (binary & nonbinary) who have experienced reproductive loss in any form.

Q. What if I’ve never talked about my loss before?

A. That’s okay! You can share as much or as little as you’d like. This is a no-pressure space.

Q. What if I need accommodations?

A. We are committed to accessibility. If you need captions, visual descriptions, or a trauma-informed approach, let us know in your application.

Q. Do I have to attend all 4 days?

A. We strongly encourage full participation, but we understand life happens. Please let us know in advance, if possible, of you need to miss a part or a full day.
