Hi it’s me, Krista, and this is how I got here....
Do you ever feel like you want more? I don’t mean this in the tangible sense, I mean more, like you can do more and be more?
Nearly five years ago I laid in a hospital bed knowing I was about to deliver a baby we weren’t sure would make it, that’s hard for me to type, but it’s the truth. At the time, I was a busy mom to an 18 month old, I was teaching junior high full time and I barely had two hours a day with my daughter after I got home from work.
I wasn’t happy with this rat race and in those few days before the delivery of our second child, I knew this isn’t the life I wanted to lead. I wanted more time- I realized how truly valuable life is.
The next few months were a blur. We delivered our 27 week old baby and spent months in ICU. Those few months changed me forever. This put everything into perspective for me and I realized just how precious family and time are. It was everything, and I wanted more, I wanted a different way and I knew something was out there, waiting for me, I just had to find it.
Four months later an opportunity came along and smacked me right in the face. I wasn’t interested, I was “too busy” with my two loves but truthfully I think I was scared. I started using the products, and once I noticed a difference in my hair my intuition was screaming at me this was something I should do.
That was it, that’s was what I’ve been waiting for, within 8 months I was driving a Cadillac paid for by them, I was able to take a leave of absence from my teaching job to stay home with my kids when they needed me most. Time flexibility and NOT having to stress about finances took immense amounts of stress off my shoulders.
We have paid off student loans and debt, have moved into our new home in our dream neighbourhood and I now teach part time because I want to, not because i have to. Not only that... I LOVE working my business and helping others achieve their goals, whatever that may be.
If you’re looking for something new, do not hesitate to reach out and ask questions. The best adventures start with a little curiosity.
