Body Positive Hype Girl is an Instagram community created by me, Anna Kubitz (@annakubitz).

I started this account (formerly @midsizehypegirl) after I heard the term “midsize” and had really felt that I had really seen my body for the first time within fashion.

To me there are no size range requirements to the term, but I often classify myself this way because I am curvy and my size often falls between “straight size” and “plus size” — a lot of the time, stores don’t even carry or make the size I need.

While I would classify myself as mid/plus size and curvy, I wanted to shift this account to be as inclusive within terminology as possible. By eliminating size references in the name, I hope to make this a better space for people of all shapes and sizes to feel comfortable sharing their style!

So if this community feels like a space that you need, welcome! This is an inclusive, positive community for everyone who loves fashion.
