7 years ago I started a cosmetics company, Evio Beauty with a mission to create a more conscious future by connecting people through beauty products that are good for your skin, planet and our community.

I was 21, and living in a women's shelter where I taught myself to use photoshop and created a catalogue of beauty products. I shopped this catalogue of beauty products that didn’t yet exist to retailers. With dedication and determination, Evio established relationships with some of the worlds largest retailers before establishing a direct-to-consumer model (www.eviobeauty.com)

Because of these humble beginnings and early lessons, Evio promotes kindness through our affordable, inclusive, vegan, cruelty free and sustainably produced cosmetics and skincare.

Since my humble beginnings on a bunk in the shelter I’ve successfully raised millions through strategic alliances and have won the support of a coveted board of directors and advisors. In 2018 Aurora Cannabis, one of the worlds largest cannabis companies, and Evio Beauty announced one of the first strategic partnerships to merge beauty and cannabis on a global scale to further our sustainable offerings. I was grateful to secure a spot as a 2018 alumni member of the esteemed Sephora Accelerate program and was selected as one of Chatelaine Magazine's 2018 Women of the Year. In 2019, I checked a bucket list experience while speaking at Forbes Under 30’s first-ever Global Women Summit in Israel about how to behold a business with profit and purpose, alongside speaking at Cosmetic Executive Women’s Future of Cannabis in Beauty in Los Angeles and the CAFA Fashion & Retail Forum in Toronto, among others.
