Lifestyle Motherhood Beauty & Home

Hey Babes, I’m Bridget (but I respond most to babe, B, Bdub, Jet & my maiden name).

I am a native Seattleite, and love all things PNW. I’m a CTICU Nurse by night, and proud of it. I’m married to a real catch, and the funniest guy I know. The love of our lives joined us February 2020, little J, he is the baby to three rescue bulldog brothers.

This is a place for me to share a little of my lifestyle with you. My everyday style, beauty, motherhood, health and everything in between.

Back Drop (Seattle local)

I’ve been in search of a wood backdrop for a while and could not find anything close to what I was envisioning! I finally came across @pumpupparty which is a wedding and events design/rental company. Based out of issaquah, such good quality, great communication and run by just the nicest woman. If you are looking for backdrops for any event I would check them out!

Balloon Garland kit

Ok Lushra is a company I’ve been following for a while because of Ciara Self, she partners with them for so many events! It’s based out of TX but ships super quick, so easy to use kits with either their color choices or you can custom select multiple options to match your theme. It comes with balloons, fishing line and a pattern to follow! Can’t recommend enough if you’re ensure about your balloon garland.

Cake

In love with my shag cake! I used Kait who owns Cake.Life.Everyday. She is so talented, kind, and authentic. She brought my vision to life with little direction and the cake was beyond yummy. She is local to Seattle and does cakes and croissants weekly. Pick up is in Georgetown behind Lowercase Brewing.

*I did confetti cake (because it’s me I had to!) and we chose vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream for the filling!

#1 Balloon Mosaic

Items needed:
Form board
Pattern
Hot glue gun
Box cutter
Balloons
Ok this one wasn’t my strong suit but still turned out to be fairly easy and cute. You can find patterns on Etsy I will link a good site. I tried to do this but the pattern was much bigger than my foam board. So I freehand drew out my number one, along with side pieces, used a box cutter to cut it out and a hot glue gun to piece it all together. You then glue different size balloons into the center with hot glue gun on cool. If you free hand don’t forget to add a piece of foam to the back as a stand!

Personalized Acrylic Sign

I loved adding a personalized piece for Jack to make it feel like a “real” party for him. I found @creativeamme on Instagram, all her work is beautiful, super helpful, and kind! She sent the mock up version pretty quick and then it was shipped to me so fast. Give yourself at least two weeks time as she is busy! I used common strips to hand this onto my backdrop and had no problems!
